In response to increased demand for more environmentally friendly and low-carbon forms of envelope cladding, A2O Cladding have partnered with leading composite panel manufacturer Isoclad to develop the RockSIP panel, a unique rockwool cored long-span timber SIP panel that can be used as a direct replacement for an equivalent metal faced system.

RockSIP key features and benefits of this panel are:

• Non-combustable rockwool core material
• Lower carbon footprint due to no metal or timber studs used in manufacture
• Improved U-values compared to equivalent metal faced alternatives
• Panels can be faced with timber, rainscreen or brick façade system
• SIPS joint system ensures no cold bridging
• The continuous dense rockwool core ensures so sagging of insulation within the wall
• Panels are factory-made by Isoclad under strict manufacturing conditions
• Reduced joints results in a more robust air seal
• Simple mechanical lifting technique

On the Tesco Environmental stores our multi-skilled operatives have installed the Eurobond panels, RockSIP panels and Larch external facings and therefore eliminating any coordination issues that might occur between multiple installers.
